The SoccerActress
I am a former professional soccer player and soccer freestyler, now performing The SoccerActress, an autobiographical one-woman drama-comedy show that merges character comedy, freestyle soccer, and storytelling.
In this show, the soccer ball becomes not only a symbol of discipline and power, but also a living tool of expression, blending movement, rhythm, and storytelling to explore gender politics, queer identity, and the beauty of athleticism as an art form. It is a tribute to female and queer resilience, but also a universal story.
The show was first created in 2018 in Italian, and since then I have performed it in Rome, Naples, Genoa, and at the prestigious Piccolo Teatro in Milan. in 2023 it was also presented in German in Berlin. In August 2025, the English-language version premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (The FootballActress), where the show received strong reviews and I was honoured to be nominated for Best Actress by DarkChat.
On October 16, 2025, the show had its U.S. premiere at the United Solo Theatre Festival – Fall 2025 in New York City at Theatre Row (Off-Broadway).
In January 2026, I started a one-year Australian tour, performing the show at FRINGE WORLD in Perth and then at Adelaide Fringe, where it received very positive responses from both audiences and the media. I will also be participating in Qtopia Festival 2026 in Sydney in June, as well as Sydney Fringe and Melbourne Fringe in September and October 2026.

Stan Munro: Secrets of a Showbiz Dame
From the grey streets and isolation of the Welsh valleys to the glittering stages of Kings Cross, Stan Munro has lived a life larger than any spotlight could capture.
Born into hardship and heartbreak, Stan refused to be defined by trauma or shame. Instead, he rose, sequins first, transforming pain into performance and adversity into art. From performing at 13 with the Francis Langford Singing Scholars, to his scandalous summer romance with Are You Being Served? star John Inman and joining the iconic Les Girls on Sydney and Melbourne’s golden drag scenes, Stan’s story is as fierce as it is fearless.
Told with unflinching honesty and outrageous charm, this is more than a memoir. It’s a rallying cry for self-expression, resilience, and pride. Whether he’s dazzling on stage or banished to Facebook jail, Stan Munro remains gloriously and unapologetically himself.
“Life’s too short not to shine, darling so grab your heels, your crown, and your courage, and get ready to strut.”
In conversation with William Brougham.

Seanchoíche is a storytelling platform founded in Dublin, hosting live storytelling nights all over the world — including Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Melbourne and Sydney. ✨
For Pride Month, we’re excited to host Seanchoíche at Kinselas for the very first time.
If you haven’t experienced Seanchoíche before, the concept is simple: ordinary people get up and share stories in front of a crowd. Stories can be funny, emotional, heartfelt, chaotic, fictional or deeply personal — from spoken word and prose to personal anecdotes and everything in between.
The theme of the night is CONNECTION, with all stories told revolving around this idea and the many ways we experience connection in our lives, communities and relationships.
Whether you’d like to share a story yourself or simply come along to listen, Seanchoíche is known for creating a warm, welcoming and deeply human atmosphere.

Sydney Kink Festival
The Sydney Kink Festival returns this June Long Weekend for a spectacular three-day takeover, transforming the city into a playground for the bold, the curious, and the dedicated. This year’s curated journey begins on Friday, June 5th, at the Empire Hotel in Annandale with EAT ME, a decadent social munch designed to break the ice and build community connections. From there, the energy shifts to the sensual and high-shine world of THRESHOLD at Our Secret Spot, where the late-night hours are dedicated to curated play and the celebration of fetish expression in an immersive, latex-heavy environment.
Saturday transitions from the darkness of the club to the community heart of the Rex Centre in Darlinghurst. Throughout the day, the Markets offer a vibrant bazaar of gear and apparel crafted by the community, for the community, providing the perfect opportunity to support local makers and upgrade your kit. Simultaneously, our Workshops offer opportunities to share skills and master new disciplines. Whether you are browsing the stalls or diving into a half-day or full-day educational program, the Rex Centre serves as a sanctuary for craftsmanship and curiosity.

Queering the Collection
In connection with Pride Month, this event explores the Library’s ongoing work to better represent LGBTQIA+ communities within its collections. This ranges from uncovering incredible untold stories to proactive collecting projects aimed at addressing historical gaps, as well as reinterpretations reckoning with the lives and stories that have been denied, ignored, or hidden. A conversation about visibility, inclusion, and cultural memory — the achievements so far, the projects underway, and the work that is yet to come.
This event is part of a series of panel discussions exploring the role of libraries, the work of librarians, curators and archivists, and the stories behind collections. From influential women who shaped the Library to ongoing efforts to address gaps in collections, these conversations examine the challenges, achievements, responsibilities for libraries. Participants also ask what the next 200 years could hold for the State Library of NSW.
