Following the release of photographer Richard Hedgers acclaimed portrait book 'Telling Tales - 40 Fabulous Years of Floats, Fun, Fantasy and Fortitude' we are proud to present this exclusive live event.

Four influential members of the LGBTIQ community join together to discuss the symbolism, social impact and relevance of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras as it officially turns 40.

Join moderator Sally Rugg, social activist and writer, for an intimate account of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and its role of a powerful influencer in the past, present and future for our LGBTIQ community at large.
